Here are two collages that sample some of the work I did this year. The first one is my spring project collage which focused mostly on panning. The second collage is my greatest photos collage. These photos aren't necessarily my favorite pictures, but I thought they went together well. On the outside I used my rule of thirds pictures and in the middle I did two photos from my surrealism batch and one silhouette. I thought it was a good sample of my year.

For this extension of my project I decided to focus on cars. I thought that I could get the best panning effect if I tried to focus on a car from a standstill point. It was much easier to focus and adjust my shutter speed since I was staying in the same spot as opposed to moving around so much like before. This, I think, is my best batch yet.

This is my continuation of the panning project. I try to focus on a subject while keeping the background in motion.

For this series I tried to do a panning technique using slow shutter speeds. I would try and have my subject move, and then follow her movement so her image was in focus while the background was blurred. It proved to be more difficult than I thought and I started to do more motion type portrait photography.

This is the fourth installment of my surrealism series. I tried to make as much as I could but it is hard to edit so much in one week ,especially with the amount of editing i do. I think Im going to add more angel type figures next week.

Surrealism 3

This is the third installment of surrealism. This time, I used layering to try and create a mirroring illusion using the same model. It is a heavily edited project.

Surrealism 2

This is the second installment of my surrealism photos. I became much more competent in photoshop and like this batch much more than the first one. I focus on spirit type animals for most of the project and tried to either layer an interesting background, layer a new facial feature, or both.

The purpose of this project for me was to experiment with photoshop and try to mimic some surrealist type images I had seen online. I struggled at this point and didn't know much how to use photoshop, so these images are sub par.
